Picking up from what seems to be a pathological landscape of social disorders, Sanjeshka contextualizes her work between old europe and new technology. The themes that charge her work are: the intimacy of the internet, poetry and language of the millennials, humor as a mirror and synthesizer, excess of positivity, art after art, mise-en-scene, cemeteries. She studied at the Politecnico di Milano, where she now teaches. Her career begins in the design field and progressively crosses over to art. Sanjeshka (Sanja Pupovac) is a Serbian artist born in Zadar, ex - Jugoslavija in 1983. She lives and works in Milano.
She appears smaller on screen than in real life.
